Regarding the Single-Course Examination

Pursuant to Article 19, Paragraph 3 of the Balıkesir University Regulation on Education, Training and Examinations:

Students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical requirements for all courses other than internships and who have received an FF grade in only one course, or who have passed all courses but are unable to achieve the minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 required for graduation, shall be granted the right to take a single-course examination in one course of their choice on the dates specified in the academic calendar, provided that the grade they receive in this examination is sufficient to raise their CGPA to at least 2.00. In order to be successful in the single-course examination, students must obtain at least a DD letter grade. Midterm examination grades shall not be taken into account in determining this letter grade.

Application Date for the Single-Course Examination: June 10, 2026 (Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.)

Single-Course Examination Date: June 12, 2026

Time: 11:00

Classroom: Information will be provided by the Student Affairs Office.

Students who wish to apply for the single-course examination are required to submit a signed petition on June 10, 2026. (Applications submitted before or after June 10, 2026, will not be accepted.)

Students may send their petitions to the e-mail address btioyo@balikesir.edu.tr or submit them in person to the Student Affairs Office. (In-person applications may be submitted during office hours.)
