As a result of the protocol signed between our Faculty and the Balıkesir Tourism Management and Hotel Management Alumni Association (BTİOYOMD), the Association has declared that it will continue to support the students of the Faculty of Tourism in becoming the “qualified workforce” required by the tourism sector. This support includes participation in national and international fairs, seminars, conferences, various social activities, and the determination of internship placements. In particular, they emphasized that they will assist Balıkesir University Faculty of Tourism in the organization of Career Days and in the placement of intern students.

As an example of this collaboration, during the BTİOYOMD 25th Anniversary Gala held in Belek, Antalya, on October 27–28–29, 2017, the Association covered all expenses for 40 of our students to participate. Throughout the events, various symposiums were organized, contributing significantly to the career planning of our students.
