A Graduation Ceremony Was Held for the 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduates of Our Faculty
The graduation ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year graduates of our Faculty was held at the BAUN Atatürk Congress and Culture Center Şehit Fethi Sekin Conference Hall. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Rector of Balıkesir University; Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt and Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay; Prof. Dr. Ahmet Köroğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism; members of the senate; academic and administrative staff; students; and their families.
The program began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. Afterwards, the valedictorian of the Faculty, Melisa Savaş, delivered her speech. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Köroğlu, Dean of the Faculty, congratulated the graduates in his address and wished them continued success. Finally, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Rector of Balıkesir University, extended his congratulations to the graduating students.
Following a dance performance prepared by the students, the top-ranking graduates received their awards and certificates. Subsequently, all graduating students were presented with their diplomas. The program concluded with the BTİOYO oath, the traditional cap-throwing ceremony, and a graduation reception.
