Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Students’ Achievement

At the International Istanbul Culinary Cup Competition, held on February 29–March 1, 2020, our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department students, Muhammed Veli Uğur, Beyithan Kaya, and Aysu Azra Karakurt, won three gold medals and a second-place trophy in the Grand Prix Universities Team category. Our student Alper Taha Gül, who competed in the Restaurant Seafood category, also won a gold medal. We congratulate our students, who returned to our school with four gold medals and a second-place trophy, as well as Res. Asst. Talha Serdar SEZEN, who organized them. We also extend our gratitude to our University Rectorate, the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports, and Aslanboğa Kokoreç for their support in enabling our participation in the competition.
