The 14th Employment and Career Days (Online) Was Held

Balikesir University (BAUN) Faculty of Tourism’s traditional Employment and Career Days event, which brings together tourism sector representatives and students, was held online for the 14th time. The 14th Employment and Career Days, organized by BAUN Faculty of Tourism, an institution with nearly 50 years of distinguished educational tradition and a pioneer in the tourism sector, hosted around 40 companies representing various areas of the tourism industry. The event, held under the theme of quality education and qualified workforce, was opened with a speech by Balikesir University Rector Prof. Yücel Oğurlu, who wished success to students and industry representatives, thanked the participating companies, and congratulated the faculty staff who contributed to the organization of the event. Prof. Sebahattin Karaman, Chair of the Internship Commission of the Faculty of Tourism, also delivered a speech during the opening session, providing participants with information about the Employment and Career Days. Following the opening, the two-day event featured various sessions in which students and industry representatives came together under the guidance of moderators from the faculty’s academic staff.
