Tourism Week Event: Panel on the Place of Balıkesir in Turkish Cuisine

Within the scope of Tourism Week activities, on Tuesday, April 22 at 14:00, a talk was organized at Ayşe Hümeyra Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in collaboration with the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and our Faculty.

In the talk titled “The Place of Balıkesir in Turkish Cuisine”, delivered by Dr. Nilgün Karaman, the cultural richness of Turkish cuisine and Balıkesir’s unique role in gastronomy were discussed in detail.

This fruitful gathering, held with great interest from students and teachers, made an important contribution to promoting our traditional culinary heritage and passing it on to younger generations.
